This is about perspective. This is how I see the world. These are the images that I see. This is how I write about all these things. The problem is, the blinking cursor bothers me...

Oh yes, that’s the back of the elevator where I taught reading and writing to two kids.

May maka-ilang beses na akong nasabihan na “Inspirasyon kita.” Iba’t-ibang tao. Iba-iba ang estado. Iba-iba ang dahilan at intensiyon. Di ko ‘to sinasabi upang magyabang.

The New Write

These pasts few months, God is leading me to writing. I’ve done a lot of writing in the past-thesis proposals, concept papers, developmental narrative reports of children, etc. All of which are mostly technical. Now, however, I am trying out a more creative style. I do not yet know how much creatvie i can get, since this all new to me, but I am willing to try and learn, and try harder. Frankly, I enjoy a little more loose than what I was used to, but it comes with a price. Now, i have the urge to scamper around to look for a laptop or a piece of paper when an idea hits me. I cant wait anymore. Unlike before, i need to stare at the blinking cursor on the screen just to figure out the appropriate words to write. There is no room for error since it is indeed a formal technical academic paper. In this new endeavor, my fingers cant seem to keep up with the words in my head. I am yet to figure out how to manage this. But for now, I am just thankful that God revealed this gift to me-the gift to share my thoughts about the world through my fingertips.

UNESCO Learning for Change

Sociological Imagination
